Young Plant Sales was established as a "Family Run" business by the late Tom Young in 1978, operating from premises in Glenmavis, Lanarkshire.  In 1979 we purchased our own premises outside Doune, Stirling.

The Company has specialised in the supply and service of Compact Earth Moving and Construction Equipment from the start and we have steadily added to and improved our product range since then.  We now consider that we represent the best brands in the Industry.

Young Plant Sales is one of the largest Compact Equipment Dealers in the World.  We have supplied close to 6,000 new Mini Diggers to date and are the longest serving Mini Excavator Dealer in the UK, having been the Main Dealer for Kubota since 1979.

We are Kubota's largest Dealer for Mini Digger unit sales for 2007 and this is the fifth time the Company has achieved this.

We are also Bomag's Dealer of the Year for 2007, CompAir's Dealer of the Year for 2006 and 2007 and Neuson Dealer of the Year for 2007.

Our busy Workshop, Parts Department and Office employ the latest technology available and we are delighted to offer Product Support to compliment these market leading brands.

We offer New and Used Equipment for sale, on and off-site emergency breakdown and routine servicing cover as well as spare parts and a full range of accessories designed to keep your machine(s) on site and on the move.  We also offer Low Cost Finance and Leasing Packages and the most up to date Theft Prevention and Recovery Devices to help you obtain and then protect your investment.
