BOMAG warrants new products sold or leased by it or its compaction centres to be free of defects in material and workmanship.

Warranty extended to 5 years is offered subject to the following Terms and Conditions :-

• The Extended Warranty is for a period of 48 months from the date of expiry of the Standard BOMAG 12 months manufacturer's warranty.

• Under this warranty, BOMAG undertakes to replace all parts or assemblies which it deems to be defective.

• The warranty for replacement parts is the same as for original parts.

• The warranty becomes void and will not apply to parts which have been repaired, replaced or altered without authorisation from BOMAG.

• All parts replaced during the Extended Warranty period become the property of BOMAG.

• The Extended Warranty is limited to restoring the product to a serviceable condition. Additional costs such as freight, duty, taxes, labour or any other charges whatsoever do not form part of this warranty unless stated.

• BOMAG expressly excludes any liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, financial loss or delay resulting from a failure of a product or component.

• Damage caused by misuse, negligence or abuse including continued operation after a defect has been observed, the use of unsuitable fuels or oils or through non-observance of the Operating and Maintenance Instructions or any special Terms and Conditions agreed at the time of purchase, is not covered by this Extended Warranty.

• Failure of any component due to fair wear and tear will not deemed as Warranty. Wear items including cables, belts, rubber buffers, hoses, electrical components including batteries, clutches, tamper concertina walls and handle rollers, shoes and base plates, scrapers, tyres, seats, mats and wipers.

• All products included under this Extended Warranty scheme must be covered by a BOMAG approved Service Agreement for the period of the Extended Warranty. Service records are to be kept and must indicate service intervals. These records together with serial number, hours and service kit reference number must be supplied to BOMAG each year.

• Only genuine BOMAG parts are to be used whilst a product is covered under five year Extended Warranty. The use of non-BOMAG spare parts will render any Warranty void.

• BOMAG reserves the right to change or modify designs and specifications without notice in the interests of product improvement.

• These Terms and Conditions apply to BOMAG products sold or leased by BOMAG or its authorised dealers. Variations to this Warranty are only valid if confirmed in writing by BOMAG.
